Joey Arrigo is a 19 year old experienced choreographer and teacher, as well as a performer living in the Greater Toronto Area. He was Dance Masters of America’s, Mister Dance of America 2010. At the age of only 16, Joey choreographed several pieces for both The Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh and for Dothan School of Dance in Dothan, Alabama. Joey’s choreography has won top overall scores at competitions. Joey was a choreographer’s assistant to Blake McGrath and Mia Michaels on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, seasons 1, 2, and 3. In the fall of both 2009 and 2010, Joey was one of 30 performers for the Bell Celebrity Gala Held in Toronto. Last winter, Joey competed in Chicago at Youth America Grand Prix. He won the overall Grand Prix award and competed at the international final in New York City. Joey is qualified at the advanced pre-professional level of Vaganova Ballet.

In October, 2009, Joey was one of 22 dancers in Blake McGrath’s first music video entitled “The Night”, and he was one of 8 dancers in Blake’s second music video entitled “Relax”, premiering soon. In August, Joey had the opportunity to be a part of CW’s new hit TV show, “Hellcats.” Joey was also one of the principal dancers in the Disney Movie Release of “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” Joey is the Current Senior National VIP for JUMP dance convention and is a regular demonstrator for their weekend tour. Currently working in the Toronto area and throughout Canada, Joey has hopes of building a strong dance career world wide.
