“I am not young enough to know everything.”
– James M. Barrie

Born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, “Jumping Jess” was never one to sit still. She is certainly grateful her parents chose to enroll her in dance lessons to focus her boundless energy! She trained in dance at Premiere Studio of Dance for over fourteen years studying jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, lyrical, acrobatics, musical theatre, and hip hop. From a young age, she performed in dozens of musical productions in her community and was resident choreographer for two original plays with Arbor Theatre.

A recent graduate of Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program, Jessica is a true Triple Threat! In 2015, she spent the summer performing in the Charlottetown Festival’s Young Company production of We Are Canadian and in her undergraduate she was featured in four productions with Theatre Sheridan. When she is not performing, she is a devoted teacher in children’s music, dance, and theatre programs and an instructor with Quick Ball Change, Canada’s premiere agency for dance educators. Jessica was Dance Captain for Kiss Me, Kate at Theatre Sheridan and looks forward to pursuing this new passion in the future.

Jessica is a young and enthusiastic artist who is eager to share her passion. She is fortunate to be pursuing what she loves and is excited to see what this life of adventure will bring!
