Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Jen first started training in the entertainment arts as an Actor; Studying everything from Shakespeare to Broadcast Journalism.
Jen’s artistic repertoire expended in the spring of 2002 when, unexpectedly, she was approached to audition for a competitive Hip Hop group. Upon booking the job Jen’s passion and focus for an artistic outlet exploded through the professional Vancouver Hip Hop scene: Working on numerous films and television shows, pioneering the live performance scene with her self directed and choreographed group, Stonefoxx Dance Crew and teaching at the prestigious Harbour Dance Centre.
Her motto is that balance and variety is the key to life and that you can’t take yourself too seriously. With this, it is of no surprise that Jen’s outgoing personality and variety of dance skills has kept her in demand. Her dancing ranges from Hip Hop, Freestyle, and Street Jazz to Salsa, Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing.
Jen has trained everywhere from Los Angeles and New York to London, England. She is now a well sought after instructor, choreographer and performer.
