Jason Adam Clarke
Actor, Singer, Dancer
“Dare Est Recepiere (To Give Is To Receive)”
– Jampolsky, Gerald G.

Jason Clarke is a fresh new face in the Canadian Theatre scene. A graduate of the Sheridan College Musical Theatre Program he has trained to be a triple threat in the disciplines of acting, singing and dancing.

Also a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University in the Vocal Jazz Diploma program, Jason would have to admit that his favourite part of any Musical is not surprisingly the music: Especially those complex and dissonant harmonies.

Jason has already put his education to the test professionally. Some of his favourite credits include being the Male Swing in The Producers at Stage West Mississauga, a lead in Alberta Fusion at the Charlottetown Festival Young Company, and Raoul in Eating Raoul at the Edmonton Fringe Festival.

Originally from Calgary Alberta, Jason has since moved to Toronto to pursue his dream of acting, singing and dancing. He still however maintains a strong connection to his roots back home.

The first musical Jason ever participated in was a high school production of Fiddler on the Roof through Summerstock Calgary. Summerstock Calgary’s motto is “Dare Est Recepiere” translated as “To give Is To Receive” and Jason has adopted it as his own.

Jason believes that through performing the actor can share a piece of his or/her spirit with the audience in a way that no other act can. Giving the audience a gift that cannot be purchased or imitated but which is truly unique. Through the sharing of this gift the actor in turn receives joy. “Dare Est Recepiere” or “To Give is to Receive”.
