Jaimie Ashworth

Born and raised in the Greater Vancouver area, Jaimie Ashworth started dancing and performing at the age of 11 and quickly came to realize that this would be her career choice. Along with extensive training around North America, Jaimie has assisted many names such as Tyce Diorio, Napoleon & Tabitha D’umo, Devin Jamieson, Sean Cheesman, Jason Samuel Smith, Megan Lawson, Jillian Meyers and Gustavo Vargas as a dance convention class assistant.

Recently, Jaimie has been traveling and performing around the world, sharing her love and passion for performing with people of North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. She’s had the pleasure to perform in the productions of ‘Broadway’s Christmas Wonderland’ at the Tokyu Theatre Orb, Tokyo’s largest theatre and ‘Conga’, a Latin-fusion show based out of Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada. Jaimie has also toured with Royal Caribbean International as a dancer on the world’s largest cruise ships in their most innovative shows. Jaimie prides herself in her versatility of dance styles which has allowed her to complete contracts on Ovation of the Seas in the original cast, Explorer, Freedom and Anthem of the seas in both the main theatre and their state of the art Two70 venues.

There is nothing that makes her happier than learning new things and challenging herself to learn new skills. Choreographers and directors alike find Jaimie invaluable for a great performance and keeping the integrity of their shows and choreography. Jaimie has trained extensively in multiple disciplines and continues to teach at dance studios around Vancouver, including teaching classes at Vancouver’s Harbour Dance Center when she is home from her worldwide stints.
