Jahlen Barnes

Born and raised in Toronto, Jahlen Barnes started his training at the age of 8 at the Annex Children’s Theatre Education Program. He also trained with the Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus.
Jahlen first fell in love with theatre after seeing a production of Once Upon A Mattress, which performed at his school. He knew then that is what he wanted to do. When not performing, Jahlen loves his video games ( Halo in particular) as well being an avid reader – anything Science Fiction.
Jahlen is a proud graduate of the Randolph Academy of Performing Arts in Toronto and was able to fullfil a dream by playing the role of Melchior in Spring Awakening for this final show there.
