CAEA
“Jacob Woike is an actor and singer whose dedication to his work and willingness to grow equals his talent.  He is a joy to work with and brings a gorgeous vulnerability to every note he sings.”

Jacob was born on Vancouver Island, BC in a small town called Duncan. He spent the majority of his school years involved in sports with a special interest and aptitude for basketball. He spent multiple summers training with university teams and coaches until he auditioned for a community theatre production in his hometown. From the moment he began training and performing… he had made his choice on what he was going to do.

After moving to Vancouver and graduating from Capilano University in Musical Theatre, Jacob has actively pursued his career on stage and screen. Making his professional debut replacing the lead character, Daryl, in the Canadian musical Broken Sex Doll, he has since continued performing in various productions such as Les Miserables and Legally Blonde! He continues to study across the country with some of Canada’s foremost coaches and teachers. He recently returned from Toronto where he studied voice, body, and Shakespeare with David Smukler (Stratford Voice Coach, 9 Seasons), and faculty at the National Voice Intensive.

When he isn’t performing and studying, Jacob enjoys to travel the world, and spend time with his family and friends whose love and support is nothing but constant.
