Hannah Bateman

Hannah Bateman (she/her) has a passion for dance and performance that started when she was just six years old. Her training includes jazz, lyrical, musical theater, hip hop, tap, contemporary and acrobatics. From a young age, continuing to adulthood, Hannah has been committed to becoming a versatile performer and continues to train in all dance styles. She has won several awards including BC Provincial Stage Dance Champion, BC Provincial Modern Dance Runner-up, Maximum Velocity Artist, as well as Lyrical and Jazz Dancer of the Year. Her ability to tell a story through movement and her incredibly hard work ethic have always been recognized by judges, panelists and instructors. Hannah has worked on several high-profile productions including Monster High 2 (Nickelodeon), Riverdale (CW), The J Team (Nickelodeon), and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC).

Hannah completely understands the importance of continual training and is dedicated to honing her craft always. She has received training from top instructors in Vancouver by being part of the ITP training program, has traveled to multiple dance conventions throughout Canada and the United States, has studied at the Joffrey Ballet School summers as well as training as part of the Northwest Dance Project. She is also trained in acting and singing and is continually working to expand her skills as a triple threat performer. She recently was part of an ensemble for a live production titled “Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular” and loved being part of a live production singing and dancing.

Aside from dance, Hannah has studied English and Exercise Physiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. She has a huge heart and an exuberant love for life. In her free time, she enjoys running, yoga, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time taking her dog on adventures. Hannah’s goal is to be a generous performer who inspires and uplifts audiences with her talent and passion for life and the arts.
