“Glen has a gift of living through songs, living in the moment.”
– Adrian Noble, Award Winning Director

Glen Mills grew up in a small western town, enjoying the outdoors and like most Canadians boys played hockey for the majority of his life. When he watched his sister perform in Anne of Green Gables he knew he would someday play the role of Matthew Cuthbert. Being the youngest of five children fostered his competitive spirit and provided him with the support needs to explore his talents. In high school, Glen performed in the musicals Grease, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Oliver! After high school he began his acting studies at Red Deer Collage in their two-year Theatre Studies program, his memorable roles there included the ‘Lion’ in The Wizard of Oz and ‘Rolf Gruber’ in The Sound of Music.

Glen followed his passion for performing across Canada to study Musical Theatre at Sheridan College. Not being a dancer primarily Glen was surprised to be cast as the sword dancing ‘Harry Beaton’ in Brigadoon, but this proved to be one of his most fulfilling performances. In his graduating year he was given the opportunity to show off a few of his character voices as the bitter/war torn puppeteer “Paul” in Carnival. Glen has also been seen on the second season of CBC’s Triple Sensation where he had the opportunity to study with some of the world’s most renown acting/singing coaches such as Patsy Rodenberg, Larry Moss, Jeffery Huard, Andrew Wade and many more! Glen spends what little time off he has at the lake with his family and is continually in pursuit of living his dream, “Simply, survive as an artist! And, continue to learn, grow, and share.”
