Gabrielle Trudel

Gabrielle (Gabi) Trudel was most recently cast in the series adaptation of the 1999 film Cruel Intentions which will premiere worldwide exclusively on Prime Video in 2024. She is also known for her role as Remi Oxenberg in the fictionalized television movie “Escaping the NXIVM Cult, A Mother’s Fight to Save her Daughter” that premiered on Lifetime and is currently on Disney+. Additionally, Gabrielle’s acting experience includes a number of other projects in film/tv, commercials, voice overs, print campaigns and theatre.

Early in her career she was cast in two principal roles in two TV series filming at the same time, Haven and The Lizzie Borden Chronicles starring Christina Ricci.  Gabrielle won a Joey Award for Best Young Actress in a Recurring Role in a TV Series and was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a TV Series for her work on Haven. She has participated in a number of acting training programs and workshops. Currently, she is training with award winning actor and Director Marianne McIsaac.

Gabrielle is also a highly trained dancer. She is currently a Performance Dance major at TMU (formerly Ryerson) and has been studying many styles of dance since she was three years old. Her diversity has allowed her to win numerous awards as a soloist and group dancer over the years. Some of these achievements include Millennium Dance Productions Star Soloist, Fever International Dance Championships Face of Fever and View Dance Challenge Senior Most Potential Dancer. More recently, Gabrielle has become a sought-after choreographer and has been hired to create pieces for live shows and dance studios.

Outside of acting and dance, Gabrielle has been successful in other interests as well. She works as a Host travelling to dance competitions across Canada with the View Dance Challenge where she loves getting to meet and inspire young dancers. She also sings, is fluent in both English and French, and loves to create art. Gabrielle is a hard-working, passionate and driven artist who simply enjoys performing above all else!
