Evan is originally from Calgary, Alberta. His passion for dance was discovered at a very young age and he began taking classes at the age of 5. Growing up as a competitive studio dancer, as well as training with The Young Canadians under the direction of Brian Foley, has given him the opportunity to excel in all dance styles and has made him a well rounded dancer and stage performer. Evan has attained his Advanced 1 RAD Ballet certification, as well as his Pre-Advanced Jazz ADAPT certification. During his grade 12 year, Evan was a dancer for Michael Bernard Fitzgerald’s “I Wanna Make It With You” concert in Calgary Alberta, as well as being part of the opening performance with Alessia Cara at the 2016 JUNO Canadian Music Awards.

Over the years, Evan has been mentored by choreographers such as Lukas McFarlane, Sarah Dolan, Kelly Konno and most recently Tyce Diorio. Evan had the chance to travel to LA in 2016 and be a part of the skeleton crew for one of Tyce’s Diorio’s pieces on So You Think You Can Dance, as well as assist him at the Radix Nationals Dance Convention in Anaheim, CA. While assisting with the Triple Threat Dance Convention, Evan had the opportunity to work with some of the industries biggest choreographers, such as Paul Becker, Tyce Diorio, Luther Brown, Megan Lawson and Jillian Meyers.

Shortly after graduation, Evan moved to Vancouver to propel his dance career to the next level. In the fall of 2016, Evan was hired as a dancer for an episode of “Imaginary Mary” on ABC choreographed by Paul Becker. He has since been training in all dance styles at Harbour Dance Centre, workshops, as well as being awarded scholarships at both VIP Dance Events and Velocity Dance Convention.
