Elijah Westgate is a dancer born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He grew up playing basketball, football and volleyball, as well as constantly practicing flips, tricks and stunts since his early teen years.

Elijah started dancing at the age of 10 in a competitive hip hop class at 3rd Street Beat in Edmonton, where he began learning the roots of hip hop and training in many different foundations such as popping, locking, b-boying, and house. At the age of 13, Elijah moved to Edmonton’s Kore Dance Studio and trained with Cool Giraffes and Alexander Chung’s NXG Company. His extraordinary talent earned him a nomination for the Monsters’ Kids Cast by choreographer Sean Bankhead, and secured him a spot in Immabeast, which provided training by various choreographers in Los Angeles. During his final competitive season Elijah placed 1st at Canada’s Hip Hop International with Cool Giraffes and was also given the Solo Choreography award at Represent Dance Competition.

Recently, Elijah moved to Vancouver to pursue a professional career in the entertainment industry. He has been training in Vancouver at studios Studio North, Harbour Dance Centre, and A3 District. In the studio and out, Elijah is known to be very outgoing, hard working and kind. Elijah is ecstatic to be signed to da Costa Talent to explore opportunities in acing and dancing.
