Deirdre began her dance training at Denise Smith Studio at the age of 3. She had many accomplishments during her years of training including numerous scholarships won at various events including training at Randolph Dance Academy, Work Yourself Inside Out Productions, Be Discovered Talent Agency and a Muze Scholarship to Los Angeles from Blake McGrath for Dance Driven and appeared on the TV show “Dance Life”.
Deirde has won many awards including: 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Dancer of the Year, Miss Teen Candance, 2007 Starpower’s Dancer of the Year Scholarship and Miss Starpower and the 2007 Miss Capezio – awarded at the Coastal Dance Rage Convention by the faculty of professional choreographers from Los Angeles and New York City seen on “So You Think you can Dance” and “Dance Life”. Blake McGrath, Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Chris Judd, Shane Sparks, Shannon Mather, Benji Schwimmer, Kenny Wormald. Deirdre graduated from Canterbury Art High School with a Fine Art Certificate of Distinction, a Modern and Company Award and an Overall Excellence Award for the four years she attended.
Deirdre was part of a 2008 Special Guest Performance on “So You Think You Can Dance – US”, choreographed by Wade Robson. She performed in Las Vegas with world renowned entertainment company Cirque du Soleil in the show “BELIEVE” starring Criss Angel. She worked alongside choreographer Eddie Garcia on a series of short films by Tom Holland (Director of Fright Night, Child’s Play) and most recently worked on High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale’s new movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure”
