Damien’s dedication and love of dance is exemplified by his versatility. His quick ability to adapt to any dance style is one of his greatest assets. He has been recognized with scholarships and awards both nationally and internationally in multiple styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, theatre, tap and hip hop.
Dance has always been part of Damien’s life. His study of dance has taken him to cutting edge dance communities in cities such as New York, L.A. and lately in Toronto. He has medaled in many different World Championship events that were held in countries such as Germany, the U.S.A. and Canada. This performer, instructor and choreographer is also branching out into the acting industry. An emerging talent on the Toronto dance and film scene, Damien has landed notable roles since establishing himself there, in 2009.
Dancing alongside major recording artists like Lady Gaga at the MMVA’s, with The Jonas Brothers or with Nelly Furtado on the big screen, Damien has also had the opportunity to work as an assistant choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance Canada. He has been hired by prominent choreographers including; Tre Armstrong, Blake McGrath, Laurie Ann Gibson, Melissa Williams and Rosero McCoy. Film credits include: Turn the Beat Around, Make It Happen, Disney’s Camp Rock 2, Harriett the Spy, and most recently Score: the Hockey Musical.
