Clarissa Anson

Clarissa is a Toronto-native born and raised. Clarissa caught the performance arts bug as a child when she performed at family functions, which led to her taking voice lessons. Taking things into her own hands, Clarissa started recording covers and posting them to YouTube for feedback. Eventually, she would perform at the CNE’s Annual Rising Star Competition and audition for “The Next Star.” Her passion for the arts would then expand into dance, taking lessons and classes.

Although she felt gratitude and excitement for the opportunities already provided to her, Clarissa knew something was missing. When she was twelve, she spotted a talent agency ad in the yellow pages and the rest was history. Clarissa started doing background work and was immersed in the production aspect, both in front of and behind the camera. She also began taking classes and learning from Toronto and LA acting coaches and casting directors. Clarissa’s performance experience includes short films, documentaries, voiceovers, and most notably her work on “Degrassi.”

In her free time, Clarissa loves watching reality TV, cooking new recipes, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to pursue her acting career. The key? Staying consistent and sharp.
