CJ Jackson is a hardworking, versatile, dedicated artist who loves to perform. He is a Toronto-born artist who started off as a competitive gymnast who then moved forward to become a dancer. CJ excels in Acrobatics, Jazz, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, Theatre and is professionally trained in Vocal and Acting.
He grew up training at studios located in Brampton, along- side with well recognized professional artists such as, Mitchell Jackson, Derek Piquette, Jennifer Pappas, Derick Robinson, Andrew Pyro Chung, Natalie and Mariano. In high school CJ studied as a dance major in the regional arts program at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, receiving a “most Improved and dedicated” special award in his senior year. After having no doubt that preforming arts was something he wanted to continue on as his career, CJ enrolled and graduated from the Commercial Dance Program at George Brown College.
He was really fortunate to train under professional artists in several different genres of dance, including acting and singing with instructors such as, Gadfly, Melissa Falcone, Ballet Jorgen, Stephanie Graham, Stephanie Galpern, Chris Tsujuchi and Ryan Kelly. He’s continuously training at Millennium Dance Complex Toronto with the top teachers in the greater Toronto area, but also expands his training outside of Canada at studios and Workshops in New York City and Los Angeles. Star quality and ambition are some traits that CJ doesn’t lack.
CJ Jackson is the type of person that will work hard for any goals that he is trying to reach and will also never give up on his dreams until they are achieved.
