Chantelle has studied dance for over twenty three years in various studios. She is trained in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet and Acrobatics. Chantelle attended “Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts” where she was a dance major.
Within this period of time she has worked with numerous artists such as Shaggy, Foxy Brown, Shawn Desman, Vicki Winans, Lil Romeo, Jully Black, Gloria Gaynor, Willa Ford, Deborah Cox and Ja Rule to name a few. You can see her in music videos such as Shawn Desman “Shook”, “Get Ready”, Alanis Morisette “So Pure”, Gloria Gaynor “Just keep thinkin’ about you”, Aaron Carter ” Not to Young Not to Old”, Maestro “416/905”, and TRD “Chitty Chitty”. She has worked with many choreographers such as Fatima, Clarence Ford, Luther Brown, Denosh Bennett, Siona Jackson and Linda Garneau. She has also worked for companies such as Nike, Roots, Zellers, Remax, Hyundai and L’oreal. Her stage experiences includes, Ontario Place “Cirque Magique”, Canada’s Wonderland “YTV Psyko Blast”, Roots Warehouse “Roots Fashion Show”, Copps Coliseum “2001 Juno Awards”, Royal Caribbean Cruises ” Monarch of the Seas”.
She has also danced in the new feature film “Honey” as a featured dancer, staring Jessica Alba and Lil Romeo, “Shall We Dance” staring Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere, Hairspray staring John Travolta, Save The Last Dance 2 and Silent Hill.
Chantelle is a member of the British Association of Teachers of dance (BATD). She recently traveled to Winnipeg, Manitoba to teach several workshops and is currently doing the same in Toronto, Ontario. She is a very dedicated and fun teacher, dancer and choreographer that wants to share her love and passion for dance to others. She is represented by one of the top talent agents in Toronto, giving our students great exposure for opportunities in commercial, film and video projects. She wishes to continue doing what she was born to do “dance”.
