Carla is an accomplished singer, actor and dancer. Born in Hong Kong, Carla considers herself a Toronto native having grown up here most of her life. She has trained across the continent including the prestigious Toronto Arts school, Claude Watson School for the Arts, and the Harvard University dance program.

Carla has been performing professionally for over 16 years. Her stage credits include 4 seasons at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival receiving two Tyrone Guthrie Awards (42nd Street, Much Ado About Nothing, West Side Story, A Funny…. Forum, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, The King and I), Drayton Entertainment (Dance Legends, Guys and Dolls, Sweet Charity), Neptune Theatre (Producers, Beauty and the Beast, Evita, White Christmas, Chicago), Theatre Outremont (Houdini).

Selected film and TV credits: Beauty and the Beast, The Ron James Show, Hunky Santa, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Slings and Arrows, Jeff Ltd, The Jane Show, At the Hotel (Carmalita stunt double), Soul Food, Honey and Stormy Weather.

This season Carla can be see as Serena in Legally Blonde at Theatre Aquarius, and also in Spamalot for Drayton Entertainment.
