Caitlin Clugston
Actor, Singer
“…and especially Caitlin Clugston as Lady Teazle. She absolutely sparkles and has terrific comedic flair for pouting and plotting her character’s way to wealthy widowhood. Clugston provides the bubbly for this United Players’ season opener.”

Caitlin was born and raised in Vancouver. Influenced by classic musicals when growing up, she developed a love for the performing arts at an early age. With the use of a coffee table for a stage, many tour de force performances from Annie to Romeo & Juliet for family and unsuspecting dinner guests prevailed.

Her love of performing grew through the years and crystallized in high school when she became involved in the theatre and music program. Caitlin went on to study Classical Voice at Vancouver Community College and since then has studied in opera, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary genres. For the past 10 years she has delivered standout performances in leading and supporting roles which have brought her increased recognition as a significant and versatile talent. From Restoration Comedy to the musicals of Broadway, from the sophisticated wit of Noel Coward to caustic contemporary drama, she has brought energy, nuance and command to each memorable role.

Her credits include many of the iconic female roles of the theatre such as Joanne in Company, Amanda in Private Lives, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Mrs. Molloy in Hello Dolly, Mame in Auntie Mame, Lady Teazle in School for Scandal and Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Caitlin’s appearances include productions by The Arts Club, Royal City Musical Theatre Company, Theatre Under The Stars, Applause Musicals and United Players.
