Ever since the young age of 3 Brittany has developed her technique, physicality and passion for dance. She grew up competing at Art & Soul Dance Company located in Kleinburg, ON in genres including jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics, hip hop, modern, contemporary, lyrical and musical theatre and won numerous awards including multiple VIP recognitions with JUMP Dance Convention and Top 5 Overall Hall of Fame National Soloist.

Brittany attended Mayfield Secondary School in the Regional Arts Dance Program where they focused on various genres including ballet and modern and also experienced flamenco, salsa, Hawaiian as well as many other forms of dance. She also developed her choreographic skills for solo, small and large group performances. Throughout her high school experience, Brittany worked as a recreational gymnastics instructor and is certified as a level 1 and 2 Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Coach. Also, during her secondary school years, she decided to take on the new skill of competitive cheerleading as an extracurricular activity. Brittany joined Power Cheer Toronto Cobras and was placed on the International Open Coed Level 5 team as a flyer where she established her tumbling, dance, jump and basket skills. Her team earned the opportunity to participate in the Worlds International Cheerleading competition in Orlando, Florida, where they placed 11th in the World.

This widely diverse performer received an academic entrance scholarship as well as an additional scholarship for an outstanding audition to attend York University’s Dance Program where she concentrated on both modern and ballet. She also joined York Lions Dance Energy; York University’s competitive dance team where she continued to perfect her live performance skills and her choreographic abilities. During her first year at York she was sought out by the Toronto Argonauts Cheerleading Director Jorie Brown to compile a group of cheerleaders and became the football team’s first ever Cheerleading Stunt Team captain at 19 years of age; the same year the Toronto Argonauts won The Grey Cup. The following year Brittany earned a spot on the Toronto Argonauts Cheer/Dance team where she got to express her true passion while supporting her city’s football team. As Brittany ascended through to her third year of university, she booked a job as an Illusionists assistant which allowed her to perform in another realm while also gaining a new skill set.

Recent experiences include dance, cheerleading and stunt work in film, television and commercial productions. Last summer, Spiteri played the character role of Taylor, a cheerleader on all ten episodes of season one on the recent cheerleading drama, Dare Me (2019), currently being played on the USA Network and Netlfix Internationally and was also a stunt actress on Ginny and Georgia (2020). She was also a principal Seabrook dancer/cheerleader on Disney’s 2018 original movie Z-O-M-B-I-E-S and the ballerina on the Tetley Tea Super Teas national television commercial (2018).

Spiteri graduated Cum Laude on the Dean’s Honour Roll with her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Specialized Honours in Dance Education), from York University in April, 2020. She is now eager and determined to pursue her career full time as an artist in film, television and live performances.
