Brandon started taking dance classes at the age of 3 and has never looked back.

He is a member of the 8 Count Production Team in Montreal where he trains. During his 11 years as a dancer he has had numerous and memorable opportunities to perform in either festivals, videos, flashmobs, on TV and on stage. This past fall, it was a huge honour for Brandon to be nominated as a Monsters of Hip Hop Showcase, Kids Cast Nominee. Over the past year Brandon started to train in other styles of dance (Ballet and Jazz) to become a more versatile dancer. This training helped him achieve his goal and he was cast for Season 6 of The Next Step. During the summer of 2017, he had the honor of being chosen among many applicants to open the Canada 150 show at Parliament Hill as Canada’s young voyageur and danced with many amazing artists and shared the stage with our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in front of the nation. When he was 8 years old, Brandon had the opportunity to start off a flash mob in the streets of Montreal to promote the Step Up 4: Revolution movie and even had the opportunity to battle Stephen “tWitch” Boss on stage in front of a big crowd. Some of the music videos Brandon had the chance to be part of were Nickelodeon’s – Make It Pop.

Brandon has been attending many workshops and conventions over the years where he has had the opportunity to learn from many talented choreographers in the industry from Canada and the United States. In the summer of 2016 he got a taste and the “bug” for dance conventions outside of Montreal. Brandon’s passion, enthusiasm, determination, and hard work was recognized and resulted in multiple dance scholarships in Toronto, Ottawa and Boston.

Not only does Brandon love to dance, he also enjoys doing voice over work, acting and modeling. In early 2017 he was cast as the voice of the principal character named Tomas on the animated series Snowsnaps for two seasons which will air on Treehouse Network. His voice has also been used on TV and for Radio commercials. Thanks to his physical abilities as a dancer Brandon was chosen to do Motion Capture acting for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate video game. A dream come true for any teenage boy.

Helping others is very important to Brandon. In 2013 when Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines, Brandon and his sister Lauryn had the idea to create a fundraising event to help the victims. He helped organize a day of dance workshops and a showcase at night. He reached out to the dance community in Montreal and many volunteered their time for the cause. The event raised $5000 for Doctors Without Borders.
If you ask Brandon why he loves to dance, he will tell you it’s because he loves to make people smile!
