“In the end, it all comes down to the art of breathing.”
– Martha Graham

Bennett Ryan was born and raised in the small town of Vanastra, Ontario. Surrounded by a creative and artistic family, Bennett found his love for dance at a young age.

Attending a local competitive studio, Bennett began his training in many styles including Ballet, Acrobatics, Jazz and Contemporary. He competed in various dance competitions and received awards and scholarships that enabled him to continue his training. In 2013, Bennett was accepted into The National Ballet School of Canada. Here, he performed the role of Misha in “The Nutcracker” choreographed by James Kudelka.

After highschool, Bennett went on to start his professional career. He worked at Acrobatic Arts under choreographers Derek Piquette and Mindy Yip. At 19, Bennett started working with Disney Cruise Line as a featured Acro Soloist and Dancer. During his second contract with DCL the pandemic struck so he made the big move to Vancouver!

Bennett couldn’t be more excited to continue to share his love and passion for movement with the world; and to continue to carve out his own personal style and niche along the way.
