Aysia Ianiero

Aysia Ianiero was born and raised in Vaughan, Ontario. She has trained in dance since the age of 2.5 years old at her family’s dance studio, Art & Soul Dance Company located in Kleinburg, Ontario. Aysia realized at a young age that dance is her passion and she could not picture her life without it.

She trained not only with the brilliant faculty of teachers at her dance studio, but had the amazing opportunity to train with many renowned teachers and choreographers all over the United States and different parts of the world. This diverse training allowed Aysia the ability to be the versatile dancer she is today. Trained in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, acrobatics, modern, contemporary, theatre jazz, partnering, freestyle, ballroom and acting.

Aysia’s diversity has given her the ability to win numerous awards as a soloist and group performer over the years. Some accolades include 1st Runner-Up Teen Female Best Dancer 2018 & 3rd Runner-Up Senior Female Best Dancer 2019 in Las Vegas. Represented “Beat Squad” in California at Dancer Pallooza from 2016 – 2018.

Aysia’s acting & dance performance experience includes, Capezio Ace Awards 2018 & 2019, Kenny Ortega’s “Julie and the Phantoms”on Netflix , Youtube’s “Stand Out Fit In”, Fox’s “Good Day L.A.” performance, Daro Film Distribution’s “Taken Too Far” and “Katy” in the film “The Dark Side”.

Aysia has also had the pleasure of dancing for Pride T.O. “Pride 2019 Toronto for Velvet Code”, Break the Floor Productions “25 Live” from 2016 – 2018, Fever Dance’s “Fever After Dark” 2019, and dance/ model for “Winter Walk” Toronto. Most recently, Aysia had the opportunity to dance for artist Tate McRae at the 2020 MTV EMAs.

Aysia has also worked for promotional events including a model for “Limelight Dancewear” 2017 and 2018, dancer for Fabio Burtica, Caroline Torti and Hani Abaza’s “The Shoot” 2020, dancer for Vaughan International Film Festival 2018-2019, dance and model for Athletix Academy as well as ACE Dance Theatre Company.

Aysia currently teaches dance to children and hopes to instill a passion and love for dance to those who surround her. She is a passionate and driven artist who continues to work on her craft daily. She continues to strive towards reaching new goals as a dancer and actor. She is very excited to reach new goals and experiences this year.
