“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”
– Walt Disney

Born and raised in the city of Airdrie, Alberta; Audessa started her dance training at the young age of 8 at a small studio in town. She started with jazz and acrobatics before moving on to train in as many different styles as she could, broadening her knowledge of dance further into contemporary, lyrical, tap, ballet, street jazz, and hip hop. In her teenage years Audessa trained with the The Young Canadians, performing in the “Greatest Outdoor Show” in Canada at the Calgary Stampede. Her training with The Young Canadians over 6 years provided her with many amazing opportunities to perform for crowds of over 20,000 people and acquire skills including aerial hoops, partnering and vocal training. Alongside training with The Young Canadians, Audessa also pursued a full time dance education at the Edge School for Athletes in Calgary and training by Peter Boulanger and partner Ninon Parent, Artistic Directors and Head Trainer with the Underground Circus in Vancouver, BC.

After graduating from Edge, she then moved to Vancouver to further pursue her career in dance. From there she auditioned and was accepted into the Source Dance Company directed by Joanne Pesusich. With the company for a full year, she enhanced her versatility in training and had opportunities to grow and learn from different choreographers around the world.

Through her work on camera for the children’s hit movie Disney Descendants, Audessa had the opportunity to work with choreographers Kenny Ortega and Paul Becker. She then worked again with Paul Becker behind the scenes on the skeleton crew for the new Netflix series, A Series of Unfortunate Events. Once Disney Descendants 2 began filming, Audessa was once again apart of the dance ensemble to work with Kenny Ortega and Tony Testa. Other choreographers she has worked for include Brian Foley, Luther Brown, Sean Cheesman, Louise Hradsky, Jeff Mortensen, Mark Samuels, and many more.

Audessa is excited to keep thriving in this industry.
