“Once I get going …then I like, forget everything. And .. sorta disappear. Sorta disappear. Like I feel a change in my whole body.”
– Billy Elliot

Arta has had a boundless love for singing, dancing and acting almost ever since she first became old enough to understand what they were and it’s because of that joy that she first begged for formal training in each. Always excited to work on her vocals and acting and already familiar with several types of dance- from tab to hip- hop to ballet- Arta feels most at home when she’s on a stage or in front of a camera.

Along with numerous small- scale performances, Arta notably, has played a Syrian refugee in the musical-theatre show Songs for a new World, and in professional productions of Billy Elliot and Fiddler on the Roof, as Bielke. Though she’s most obsessed, right now, with Broadway. She’s also eagerly performed in short- films, dramatic stage productions and talent shows, becoming a finalist in BC’s Got Talent 2016.

Arta currently attends a French immersion middle school and is recognized instantly for her outgoing personality and never ending smile. When she’s not performing or keeping up her stellar grades, Arta loves to play piano and make weird and wonderful slimes with supplies she finds around the house.
