He has enjoyed an international career, having performed on the stages of Pakistan, Dubai, New York, and Los Angeles. He started his musical theater training in Dubai with the Musical Youth Theater, performing in two pantomimes with the group. His major breakthrough came when he was selected from over 200 hopefuls to play Jack Scott in the Middle East Premiere of Disney’s High School Musical on Stage! with Popular Productions & West End Stage Experience. He then journeyed to Canada to study music at Western University, where he graduated with his Bachelors under Dr. Todd Wieczorek, and his Masters under James Westman.

He recently discovered his countertenor voice, and donned the wig and heels of Mary Sunshine in Wavestage Theatre’s 2022 production of Kander and Ebb’s CHICAGO. He made his film debut in May 2023, when he portrayed Sami Uncle in the short film, Leveled, and Pavel Manskeweiscz in the full-length feature, Switched at Death.

After graduating, he shared the stages of Toronto with veterans from Broadway and the Canadian Opera Company, performed in multiple cabarets across the city with Toronto Cabaret Productions and Impromptu Concert Series, and has even stage managed for U of T’s 2019-2020 Opera season. He has a passion for new Canadian works, and sang the role of Jeremy for the concept album of Bound! – an original Canadian Musical. He also originated the role of Mohammed in the Canadian original play, Transit, by Susan Brown, which has been workshopped in Toronto, and performed at the Guelph Fringe Festival.

He currently serves as the Musical Director of the Asha Choir in Toronto, a chamber group dedicated to bringing Persian and Zoroastrian Gatha music to life. He will make his stage directorial debut with Transit at the 2023 Toronto Fringe Festival, while reprising his role in the show.
