Alison is a professional musical theatre performer who grew up in Victoria BC. She has trained for 20+ years in all forms of dance but specializes in Broadway Jazz and Tap. In 2012 Alison completed a year at Harbour Dance Centre in their Intensive Training Program where she worked with some of the countries top choreographers. Alison is also a very accomplished singer and has trained extensively in classical, Broadway, pop, and jazz. She has performed with artists such as Kenny Rogers, David Foster and Josh Groban. She has taken theatre workshops in Vancouver, Toronto and New York City, learning from the best of the industry.

Alison is also a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts. She was awarded numerous scholarships towards her schooling including the Top Triple Threat Performer as well as the strongest audition applicant across Canada. After one year of school Alison made her professional debut with the Vancouver Opera in their production of West Side Story. Alison signed with da Costa Talent in 2011 and became a member of the Canadian Actors Equity Association.

Ever since Alison has been working professionally all across Canada with companies such as The Arts Club Theatre, Rainbow Stage, Theatre Calgary, The Citadel Theatre and The Capitol Theatre. Alison was also a participant in the prestigious Banff/Citadel Professional Theatre Program where she spent a month refining her craft at the beautiful Banff Centre.

When Alison is not performing on stage herself, she loves to share her passion for the arts with younger generations. She has choreographed and taught at places such as Harbour Dance, The Canadian College of Performing Arts, Capilano University and various other local dance studios as well as directing and choreographing for the Oak Bay High School musical theatre program. Alison was also the assistant choreographer for a few short films, one of which won Dance Magazines dance video of the month.

Alison is a determined, passionate, and hard working individual and always strives to achieve the highest of standards. She has worked extremely hard to get to where she is today with a full resume to prove it. She is constantly trying to better herself and can’t wait to see where this life takes her.
