Alicia D’Ariano

Alicia Renae D’Ariano is a Canadian theatre performer and creative artist, born and raised in London, Ontario.

Growing up, she was involved in many things ranging from sports to the stage – where she found her truest calling. Her super power includes connecting with people, and embracing experience and adventure together. As an emerging professional actor, she has appeared in various theatres across Canada including Grand Theatre and Monlove Productions in Quebec. She is most notably recognized in London for her 2019 Brickenden Award winning performance as Belle in London Community Players Beauty & the Beast, where she was featured in the Stratford Festival Reviews.

This past 2022 year, Alicia appeared in the National Tour of Warner Brothers & Monlove Productions of Scooby-Doo! And the Lost City of Gold, as the notoriously nerdy and loveable character of Velma Dinkley. Not only does Alicia thrive front and centre stage, she dabbles in behind the scenes too, caring to her musical and leadership abilities. She has led as the Musical Director for Frozen Jr.and Wizard of Oz Jr. two consecutive seasons with Original Kids Theatre Company in London. Highly regarded for her outstanding work with the youth at OKTC, collaborating directors speak highly of Alicia, as both an actor and artistic team member.

Beyond the stage: Alicia is an Ontario Certified Teacher for the Thames Valley District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board. She specializes in teaching Vocal Music and Science to primary/junior and intermediate levels. In addition to her Bachelor of Education degree, Alicia holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Western University, and an Arts Management certification from Centennial College.
