“Young talent is a wonderful resource and this country is filled with wonderful young people, and when your presented with a talent like Adam you use it.”
– Randy Alldread, Manager of Public Relations – Mirvish Productions

Adam Sergison is known as a versatile performer with youthful exuberance, technical excellence and an engaging personality. He is also a fast learner, which has given him a performing maturity beyond his years.
Shortly after leaving high school, Disney hired him for the dancing ensemble cast of their made-for-television movie “Camp Rock”. Soon after, Adam was retained to replace an injured dancer and nine days later was performing in “We Will Rock You” (Mirvish). Adam was reunited with Disney, appearing in the television premiere of “Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars” under the choreographic direction of Blake McGrath. Other stage and dance credits include “Peter Pan” (Neptune), “Grief: Another Common Bond” (Fayez1 Productions) and “Rain: Life in Full Bloom” (Helix Dance Project).
Adam’s passion for performing began as a child taking dance and vocal lessons in his home town of Pickering, Ontario. He graduated from Elite Danceworx where his extensive training included ballet (Vaganova), jazz, hip hop, lyrical, tap and partnering. He has taken classes in ballroom, and modern to expand his horizons and stays current by training in pilates and taking vocal and acting lessons. A personal highlight was the opportunity to assist Mia Michaels during the first season of “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”. Thirteen successful years as a competitive dancer have given Adam valuable perspective and he loves to share his knowledge by giving back to the dance community. He teaches and choreographs for several successful GTA studios and is a faculty member with The Travelling Stage. On a volunteer basis, Adam has also choreographed dance numbers for the last four musical theatre productions of his alma mater, Dunbarton High School.
Adam represents the new generation of dance talent. He is already a multi-faceted performer with an uncanny ability to command attention and blend technical fluidity with emotion to captivate and inspire both audiences and students.
